CBDC Conference Agenda Announced

The CBDC conference has now posted its 2022 agenda online. With half of the 40 confirmed speakers coming from central banks, attendees will be able to form their own opinion about the latest developments in this area.

The agenda includes a series of relevant topics. It addresses the fundamental question of the goal and purpose of a CBDC, deals with design & policy aspects, and also extends to the analysis of the relationship between and the role of CBDC and DeFi.

As happened in the first conference in 2021, a series of pre-conference workshops will be held on the morning of the first day of the conference, offering participants the opportunity to better understand the fundamentals of CBDC through real- life examples and case studies.

The CBDC Conference was the first conference dedicated to Central Bank Digital Currency and has become the leading event focusing on this important topic.

The inaugural event was held virtually in 2021 with over 50 speakers and attracted a large number of participants, including representatives from several dozen central banks. The CBDC Conference 2022 will take place in Frankfurt, Germany, from 29- 31 August.
