Digital Currency Conference Heads to Bangkok

Currency Research (CR) is hosting the 2025 Digital Currency Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, 28-29 May 2025. Nearly 200 delegates from central banks, financial institutions, fintechs, and technology providers from across the globe will come together to discuss the rapidly evolving digital currency landscape. Now in its 4th edition, the Digital Currency Conference was previously held in Mexico City (2022), Washington, DC (2023), and London (2024).

Held in conjunction with The Currency Conference, the industry’s premier event exploring currency policy, regulation, and innovation, the Digital Currency Conference presents the other side of the ledger, focusing on the most topical themes around CBDCs, stablecoins, tokenisation, and more.

The two-day programme will kick off on 28 May with a pair of hands-on workshops. CR’s ongoing Central Bank AI Roundtable series will explore AI’s potential to enhance the efficiency, security, and scalability of digital currency systems and will be followed by an introduction to Digital Assets & Web3 in Finance.
