Consumer Frustration with UK Banks Growing

A survey of UK consumers by LHV Bank finds growing frustration with both traditional and digital banks. Only one in five UK adults believe their bank offers fair value and two-thirds want digital banks to pass on the savings from not operating physical branches. They want financial institutions to deliver better value and transparency.

Protecting Real Time Retail Payment Systems

Project Hertha, a collaboration between the Bank for International Settlements Innovation Hub’s London Centre and the Bank of England, looked at protecting payment systems from financial crime, while upholding user privacy. Project Hertha explored how transaction analytics could help identify financial crime patterns in real-time retail payment systems, while using the minimum set of data points.
