Celebrating 10 Years of the Central Bank Payments Conference 2026

The 10th edition of Currency Research’s (CR) Central Bank Payments Conference is coming to Istanbul, Türkiye, 23–25 March 2026. Designed as a forum for senior-level authorities, the conference brings the global payments community together for three days of policy-level exchange.

The theme for this event is ‘Payments Without Borders: Navigating Fragmentation, Innovation, Regulation, and Resilience in a New Global Era’. A mixed format of presentations, panel discussions, and fireside chats will explore crossborder payments, asset tokenisation and settlement, payments sovereignty, CBDCs and stablecoins, payments fraud, digital public infrastructure, and more.

More than 200 delegates from 40+ central banks, 100+ organisations, and over 50 countries are expected to attend, with nearly 50 expert speakers from the public and private sectors participating in the program.
