A Focus on Currency at HSP EMEA

This year’s High Security Printing (HSP) conference for the Europe, Middle East and African region was the first ever in its 22 year history to be held in the latter region, and the biggest ever – with 341 delegates, 146 organisations and 49 countries attending.

From a currency perspective, HSP EMEA, held in Rabat, included two currency workshops, two joint sessions with the identity side of the event and four currency only sessions.

Workshops

From Moneybox to financial inclusion

The first workshop was from Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions (KBBNS), with a focus on financial inclusion, what it is and why it matters.

KBBNS has created a programme built around three tools aimed at people with different levels of financial knowledge, starting with Moneybox and moving on to MoneyStart and MoneySmart. These tools educate people about finances based on cash.
